To support and represent the interests of tour operators in Uttarakhand. To promote responsible, eco-friendly, and community-based tourism. To collaborate with government bodies, stakeholders, and international agencies to develop tourism infrastructure. To provide training, resources, and platforms for members to grow professionally. To preserve and showcase the cultural and natural heritage of Uttarakhand.

  • 1. Support & Empower Tour Operators: Provide guidance, training, and certification programs to enhance the professionalism and skills of tour operators. Foster entrepreneurship and local employment through tourism activities.
  • 2. Tourism Development & Promotion: Actively promote destinations, routes, and experiences unique to Uttarakhand including adventure, spiritual, wellness, eco, and rural tourism. Organize and participate in trade fairs, roadshows, and travel marts to boost visibility.
  • 3. Sustainable Tourism Practices: Promote eco-tourism, waste management, and conservation efforts in all tourism zones. Advocate for low-impact tourism models that benefit host communities.
  • 4. Heritage & Culture Preservation: Encourage experiences that celebrate Uttarakhand’s local traditions, festivals, cuisine, and handicrafts. Work with cultural experts to create authentic tourism offerings.
  • 5. Policy Advocacy & Representation: Represent the interests of Uttarakhand-based tour operators in government discussions. Recommend policies for better infrastructure, safety standards, and permit systems.
  • 6. Capacity Building & Education: Host workshops and seminars on tourism trends, digital tools, safety measures, and customer service. Develop code of conduct and operating standards for ethical tourism business practices.
